beauty in ritual
Milk and Whistle is the creative ceramic practice of Rozanna Johnson. Rozanna is a ceramic artist living and working in Perth, Western Australia.
Founded in 2021, Milk and Whistle’s mission is to enhance the simple pleasures in life. The range features a variety of hand-built vessels that connect the end user with the creator, and focus much attention on daily life rituals—sipping a cup of tea from an organically shaped cup, or choosing a flower from the garden to brighten a corner of a bookshelf. Transforming these smallest of rituals into moments of meditation and joy.
Rozanna has a wide spanning background in the creative fields having completed degrees in both visual arts and design (photography), many years as a professional graphic designer, and a strong interest in interior architecture. Working with clay now allows her to combine her artistic soul, with her more design driven, problem solving side to create work that is both functional and beautiful.
